Amy + Ben | Wedding | St. Ignatius Catholic Church + Private Home on Dog River | Mobile, Alabama

Amy Courtney and Ben Cooksey got married on March 20, 2020, and they embraced all of the many changes made to their wedding with such grace. After moving their wedding date from Saturday to Friday, switching ceremony venues, and shortening their guest list to prevent the spread of Coronavirus, they allowed their love to shine and they had the hugest smiles on their faces throughout the entire day! Instead of their original plan of having 350 guests witness their union at the Cathedral Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, they were wed in the presence of their parents and siblings at the Chapel at St. Ignatius Catholic Church, while a few other family and friends surprised them upon their exit with balloons and a rose petal toss!

Following their ceremony was an intimate yet stunning reception at the Courtney family's private home on Dog River! The most gorgeous florals adorned every inch of their house and added a romantic, dreamy touch to the aesthetic. Additionally, the arrangements sat in blue and white china, which was accentuated by white linens with blue floral embroidery—what a fresh and unique take on a spring wedding! Their reception was not only incredibly beautiful but also extremely fun! Just take a look at their boat send-off and all of the special appearances made by Amy's pug, Chubb, who was dressed in his own custom tuxedo!
