Gloria + Nacho | Wedding | Holy Spirit Catholic Church | Tuscaloosa, Alabama

When I first heard "bright and multicolored traditional Mexican wedding," I knew I would be in for a treat! Gloria Alvarado and Nacho Aguilar's Tuscaloosa, AL wedding was full of heartfelt emotion and joyful energy! I love when couples celebrate their love and culture all in one--it adds so much personality to an already special day!

Gloria and Nacho had their wedding ceremony at the beautiful Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

After the ceremony we took family photos in the church. Gloria had told me previously that she was extremely excited for family photos, and it was wonderful to see that so many family members had come from all over the United States and Mexico to celebrate their marriage!

Gloria and Nacho drove off to the reception in Nacho's vintage car!

Before making their grand entrance into the reception, the bridal party took these lovely photos at Rock Quarry Park. Their whole family dynamic was so touching to capture. You can see just how much their children adore them!

Gloria and Nacho's reception at the Phelps Activity Center at Rock Quarry Park lived up to all my "bright and multicolored" expectations! There were so many personal touches throughout the decorations. They even had a candy station called the "La Dulceria," which, of course, was immediately emptied by all the kids with a sweet tooth!

For dinner, Taqueria Mexico food trucks served tacos, tamales, atole, elotes, esquites, burgers, hot dogs, and traditional Mexican drinks.

As soon as Gloria and Nacho made their grand entrance, they amped up the energy level in the room with their lively dancing. During dinner, a talented mariachi band performed at each table. Later, Gloria's brother, who is a DJ in Mexico, got the dancing started with energetic music. All of the guests joined in, and I have never seen a more fun group of people! In the middle of the night, there was also a band that performed and got people moving!

The exciting night ended on a high note--a man in stilts and neon green lights came to keep the celebration going!
