Hien + John | Vietnamese Tea Ceremony + Wedding | The Dock | Gulfport, Mississippi

Hien Huynh and John Valle celebrated their marriage with both a Vietnamese tea ceremony and American ceremony on February 6, 2021. With two emotional and joyful ceremonies, their wedding day was filled with double the love, rich culture, and plenty of happy tears! First, fully dressed in beautifully intricate ao dai attire, Hien and John shared a traditional Vietnamese tea ceremony with their close friends and family at a lovely Airbnb in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. They even served a cup of tea to John's parents and family, who were unable to travel due to the pandemic, via Zoom. Not a dry eye was in the house during these heartfelt moments, and it was truly special to witness such authentic gestures of love and support!

Hien and John then traveled in style with their bridal party in a limo to The Dock in Gulfport, Mississippi for their American ceremony. The Dock was exquisitely decorated in a farmhouse elegance aesthetic, including purple uplighting upon stunning drapery, loose greenery and florals adorning table runners, gold geometric accents, a balloon-and-flower arch above large "MR & MRS" marquee letters, and so much more! They continued to embrace their upbringings by incorporating Hien's Vietnamese culture and John's Filipino traditions with table to table toasts and a money pinning dance, respectively. Additionally, John's sister surprised Hien and John with a video featuring John's family members giving them well wishes! Their wedding was so incredibly memorable, wholesome, and definitely one for the books—it was such an honor to capture their inspirational love!
