Oh how I love working with sweet and genuine couples like Julie Howorth and Mason Handey! Julie is my best friend Rachel's younger sister, and in true Howorth fashion, she is just as kind-hearted and thoughtful! I've loved getting to know Julie throughout Rachel's wedding festivities, and I was absolutely thrilled and honored when she got engaged and asked me to capture this special time in her life as well! We started off their engagement session at Mason's family farm, Handey's Farm and Nursery, where the beautiful land and foliage provided such naturally gorgeous backdrops and inspiration! Rachel even surprised Julie with a bouquet of fresh sunflowers, which just so happen to be her favorite flower. Not only do the sunflowers serve as a fond reminder of how Mason proposed to Julie in a field of sunflowers, but they also add a bright pop of color to their photos! Take a look at this beautiful couple's fun engagement session!

Next, we drove a couple of a minutes down to The Oaks Plantation, where majestic oak trees line the road. Julie's beautiful dress, gifted to her by Mason, was an absolutely perfect way to showcase her love of flowers!
