Sarah Potts and Jack McKnight said their beautiful wedding vows on July 14, 2018 at Rebecca's Garden at Mathews Manor in Springville, Alabama. I am so delighted that my dear friend Sarah is finally married, and it was such an honor to not only stand by her side as a bridesmaid but also capture their special moments together! Luckily I had the invaluable help of my wonderful second shooters, Sandra and Tim, to assist me in photographing all the details of the entire day when I was off on bridesmaid duties! You may remember their dreamy lakeside engagement session in Atlanta, Georgia; it has been such a treat to be able to photograph Sarah and Jack during all stages of their romance and incorporate meaningful locations into our sessions—their wedding venue was right outside of Birmingham, Alabama, where they are starting their lives together as husband and wife!
The natural greenery of the venue perfectly complemented the sage green bridal party attire and the cascading greenery of the bouquets. Check out that towering ivy-covered archway and the lush trees in full bloom with beautiful pink flowers! All of the decorations created a cohesive "charming and vintage" vibe, which were the two key words Sarah used during the wedding planning process to describe her vision! Take a look at Sarah and Jack's gorgeous sage and peach wedding!
